Whit turned 3 months old on April 24. He has changed so much over the past 3 months. He's of course much bigger & no longer our little peanut. He actually had his first cold (thank you daycare!) right after he turned 3 months, so we had an unscheduled trip to the doctor. They weighed & measured him, but didn't give me the percentages. At that visit he weighed 10 lbs & 4 oz, and was 24.5 inches long!!! Way to go Whit!!
He is doing great at school & the ladies there are loving on him all the time. Ms. Brenda told John yesterday that "he is a good baby, but when he wants your attention, he's going to let you know it. And when Whit's not happy, ain't nobody happy". We laughed at this, b/c she's got him pegged!! Ninety-five percent of the time, he's a very happy baby. He only cries when he wakes up and is ready to eat. BUT when he wakes up, he's ready to eat immediately. I mean you don't even get five minutes. He sometimes is crying before he ever even opens his eyes. hmmm, reminds me of his daddy :).
His hatred of bathtime has disappeared & he seems to love baths. He is also tolerating tummy time a bit more - but he still doesn't like it. He's holding his head up very well, but still not while he's on his tummy. He's reaching out for toys now, batting and grabbing them. Over the past week, his new facination has been his hands. He grabs one hand with the other and just stares and stares at them (& of course they eventually end up in his mouth). His favorite toy is still his activity mat.
