Halloween 2010

Whit, the duckling. Halloween 2009

Better late than never with a Halloween post, right?

This was Whit's 2nd Halloween. His first Halloween, he barely got to dress up at all because he had a nasty virus on Halloween, which to date has been one of his worst illnesses. I had to include a picture from last year just to show you how much he's changed in one year. This Halloween was much better by comparison. Whit was a dog (or "woof-woof") & got to wear his costume to multiple events. While he still didn't really understand what was happening, he loved the Halloween treats that were involved!

Unfortunately, we forgot to bring our camera when we actually went "trick-or-treating". These pictures below are all from the Fall Festival at Whit's school

He wasn't a huge fan of the hood on his costume.

We did manage to get one picture of it on!

He loved playing in the "Big Kids" playground, where the festival was held. Normally, he has to stay in the designated toddler area.

His FAVORITE activity was the duck game. I'm sure it has an official name, but I'm not sure what it is. You're supposed to pick a duck, and if it has a smiley face on the bottom you win a prize. Well, you can imagine that with a bunch of 1 and 2 year-olds, the game was secondary. They were all into playing in the water.

See this hamburger playing with Whit? He was terrified of any kid dressed up as a dinosaur. So any time one came near (& there were lots), he went nuts. Must be hard to be a kid at Halloween & not really get what's going on!

See this little fellow? We don't know him, but he was a garden gnome. We loved his costume so much that we had to take a picture & share!
