We closed on my house yesterday! The whole process went very smoothly considering we sold the house with no realtor. So we are now the proud owners of only one house. In fact, everything went so smoothly with this sale, that I'm a little nervous we've used up our allotment of good luck. Hopefully it won't run out until after we've sold the Grove Road house!
There's not much new to report on the job search. I've have an offer from a public accounting firm, but haven't yet made the decision whether or not to accept it.
Speaking of public accounting, we went to see a play at Centre Stage last weekend called Professional Skepticism with a large group of E&Y friends. It was written by a guy who used to work for E&Y, but decided to leave accounting to get a masters in Theater. Anyway, the play is centered around the lives of 4 auditors. Who knew that auditing could be a comedy? Well, apparantly it isn't. I (& other E&Y alums) laughed through the entire play. Sadly, we were some of the only ones laughing. We had a great time though just doing something different for a change.
