We went to Charleston last weekend on a mission to find somewhere to live for the next four years. After two exhausting days of looking at real estate in Mount Pleasant, West Ashley, James Island, Johns Island, and even North Charleston, we got it narrowed down to a house in West Ashley that needs some repairs and a duplex on Johns Island that's only four years old. Then after WAY to much deliberation this week, we decided we liked the house better, but that the duplex was the wiser choice. So, if all goes well (please keep your fingers crossed), we will be living here in the place pictured!
While we were in Charleston we went to eat at one of my favorite restaurants in the low country. Seewee is an awesome, low-key restaurant with great fried seafood, country style vegetables, and too many desserts to choose from! It's just north of Mount Pleasant on highway 17 in the middle of nowhere & if you blink (or if it's dark), you'll miss it! When you go, don't plan to eat healthy and don't leave without dessert!!

We're headed back to Charlelston this weekend for the Cooper River Bridge Run. No real estate hunts, no job interviews, no MUSC interviews. For a change we're going down just to spend good times with great friends (& get in a little outdoor exercise)! - Ashley
