Next there were a lot of feathery pink clouds, but still no sun.
Finally the sun peaked above the water.

Sunrise on IOP
A few weeks ago, we were lucky enough to spend the weekend at on the beach at the Isle of Palms. The weather was rainy most of the time we were there & we never made it onto the beach. However, before the rains came, we were able to catch a great sunrise! Amazingly, it wasn't freezing, it wasn't too early (sunrise was at 7am that morning), and Whit slept through it all. It was well worth setting the alarm & coffee maker!
