Lake City Oyster Roast

My little sister is getting married in July, and this past weekend we got to celebrate with her and her fiance at an oyster roast in their honor. The whole Madden clan came down to Lake City, SC for the party & it was a blast. The weather was gorgeous for a change, and we got to spend most of the day outside. We ate lunch at a neat little restaurant that serves locally grown food & sells local produce. Not only was the food great, but it was 50 yards away from the Lake City airport (they should call it the Lake City "airstrip"). B/c it was such a beautiful day, there were a few small planes flying around & we got to watch a couple of them take off, which was neat. If Whit was a year older, he would have loved it!
